New Content, Same Vibe.
Somewhere between now and January 1st, the Literary Lightworker will resume its regular posting of content. As a writer, I am regaining my momentum after going through some very personal things that have changed my life forever. The LightWorker will also expand its offerings to include more podcast episodes, video content, interactive discussions and so much more! Those offerings will be paywalled so consider, at some point, to become a paid subscriber. No rush. There will still be some great content available for free.
The subscriber count has skyrocketed within a matter of weeks due to a couple of notes I posted; one shortly after that debauchery of the election and another featuring LeVar Burton. I didn’t know trolls and ignoramuses were on Substack but I have since been enlightened. Needless to say, I don’t have the time and they won’t be tolerated. I have much ClapBack in my arsenal and will get them all the way together before they are summarily blocked. Hopefully, none of the new subs are here for that.
In case you haven’t, this would be a reminder to read the About page so you can be fully aware of the content that LLW features. This newsletter was not designed to be overtly political but of course, art, culture, history and Blackness are political by nature. The point, though, is to not spend much time hashing out political thinkpieces about the current times. Instead, there is a mission to highlight the richness of the Black Experience and if you see the political in that, then fine. Other than that, if you’re cool with hanging out here, I’m cool with having you so enjoy yourself. Just keep watching your inboxes. That’s all for now.
I love your Steering statement, it's a Beautiful Thing 🙏 and will reStack ASAP 💯👍
